Improved fuel efficiency equals cost savings!

Here's a quote from a Knightline Issue 29 back in June, 2008 when diesel fuel made its first run at $4.00. Now diesel fuel is above $4.00 per gallon and rising.

"An improvement from 6.3 mpg to 6.5 mpg ($4.00 per gallon) in a division of 200 trucks is worth over $468,000 per year."

This .2 mpg improvement translates to about a 3% improvement. What kind of fuel cost savings can you realize if you were to improve fuel consumption 3%?
